  • Act as Facility VP when General Manager is not available

  • Maintain maximum utilization of people, processes and technology for the facility

  • Ensure that facility performance is in compliance with budget and SLA targets; monitor variable spending and ensure budget is not exceeded

  • Monitor daily workloads against weekly/monthly plan. Provide direction for appropriate adjustments
  • Ensure that flow of work in the facility is managed in order to meet/exceed well defined SLAs (service level agreements)
  • Ensure competing business priorities among business units are managed to achieve
  • Meet daily with the Operations team and provide direction to achieve companys production/shipping plan
  • Promote teamwork within the facility across all shifts and with all corporate departments and functions
  • Drive for constant process improvements and/or functional layout changes to support the business
  • Develop, implement and monitor procedures, methods of operation, service requirements and resource utilization
  • Work closely with staff to develop facility goals and objectives that align with company goals and objectives

  • Advise Supply Chain leadership on any major issues and risks associated with operational changes

  • Act as the eCommerce liaison between the DC and corporate business partners
  • Support employee and leader engagement through effective communication, recognition and accountability

  • Proven leadership ability with a focus on being proactive, leading and driving change. Ability to provide direction, lead courageously, motivate & influence others, foster teamwork, coach & develop and champion change

  • Ability to communicate and work with all levels (a wide variety of audiences), internal and external, both business and technical, both written and verbal
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to translate a plan into action

  • Strong foundation in distribution and transportation functions of supply chain

  • 3-5 years experience in leading a high volume eCommerce operation

  • Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands

  • Demonstrated success multi-tasking and the ability to adapt to ever-changing environment while maintaining clear focus on all priorities

  • Strong technical ability - comprehensive understanding of facility layout, forecasting, budgeting, scheduling procedures, material handling equipment and industrial technology/tools related to operations Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
Experience and Skills
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience preferred in business, logistics, supply chain or related field
  • Business expert in warehouse management systems
  • Minimum seven to ten years of in apparel distribution experience preferred

  • Use general office equipment to include computer, printer, copier, telephone and calculator

  • No travel restrictions
  • Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward
  • Comply with Blackout Periods during heavy volume times (no vacation or personal time allowed) as determined by Management
  • Able to work throughout Holiday periods as decided by management (retail environment)
