The Digital Graphic Designer is responsible for the creation of email campaigns, online advertising, landing page designs, web shops and storefronts, plus social and affiliate site creative placements. The ideal candidate must have a strong conceptual and visual design background pertaining to typography, color theory, illustration, photography, and layout. Additionally, experience working with rapid design concepting, tight delivery times and adhering to a formal design style guide is essential. The successful candidate must provide links to examples of digital design work and have an awe-inspiring portfolio.

- Translate business and marketing objectives into designs that are clear, compelling, visually exciting, easy to use and emotionally engaging

- Establish creative standards, style guides, color palettes and web templates by season. Must understand how to design and adhere to standards

- Create compelling interactive experiences including email campaigns and online banner advertising, websites/microsites, smartphone and tablet designs, Facebook and other social application design

- Produce design specifications, storyboards, motion-based prototypes, scenarios and design prototypes

- Initiate concepts and work independently, knowing when to collaborate with senior design team

- Explore various design solutions, and present multiple solutions per project with guidance from creative, merchandising and marketing feedback

- Collaborate with internal teams - Merchandising, Marketing, Brand Creative, etc.

- Communicate with external vendors as needed when submitting files or reviewing creative created by third party agency

- Participate as a contributor to an interdisciplinary team that includes creative leads, brand management, merchandising, marketing, front-end technology, and project management

Experience and Skills

- Possess advanced knowledge in the Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop and Illustrator

- Demonstrate proven typography skills including excellent command of color and composition

- Must have exceptional visual design & layout, creative thinking, and project management skills

- Have high level of attention to detail, be organized, with the ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Must be able to accurately communicate designs and present creative to key business partners

- Key understanding of internet marketing fundamentals

- Strong interpersonal skills necessary to interface with all levels of the organization

- Flexibility and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced deadline driven environment

- Strong team player with enthusiasm, positive attitude and the willingness to do what it takes to get the job done

- Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design, Art, Communications or similar field

- Digital or web design experience is preferred

- Experience in web design with links to an online portfolio or relevant examples of work
